FAQ
Q: Is this a racing event?
A: No. This is not a timed event, there is no prize for coming first, and it is not a race.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Click here.
Q: Where should I stay?
A: Lodging is on your own - we suggest staying in Sunriver, either with an AirBnB or at the lodge. Bend is also a nearby option with plenty of hotel options.
Q: Where should I eat?
A: You will be on your own for meals, but suggested stop points along the route and each evening will be provided. Though there isn’t a hosted dinner, meeting up with other group members after a day of driving is highly encouraged.
Q: Where are we going?
A: The route will not be made available until the day of the event, but we will end in Sunriver each day.
Q: What should I drive?
A: Bring your favorite car, or the car you’ve been afraid to put some miles on - whatever will make this the most memorable. Please make sure it is in good running condition: you don’t want to break down in the middle of nowhere.
Q: What am I paying for?
A: You’re paying for access to a thoughtfully planned driving experience. That includes curated routes, tight group sizes, clear expectations, and an event structure that prioritizes time behind the wheel over schedules, speeches, or parking lots. There’s no lead caravan, no pace enforcement, and no manufactured activities. The value is in the drive itself — the roads chosen, the people invited, and the freedom to actually use your car the way it was intended.
Q: Should I bring a passenger?
A: Absolutely! A co-driver or passenger (or several!) are welcome for no extra charge and will help you to navigate, capture photos and videos, and take over driving duties if you need a break.
Q: What are the teams?
A: Teams will be selected based on the size of the event and number or participants - this will generally be between 3 and 5 cars. The organizer will place you on teams at the beginning of the rally. If you’d like to be on a team with another participant, please contact the organizer in writing prior to the event for consideration.
Q: What are the rules or terms and conditions of the events?
A: Please click here for event rules, terms and conditions, and waiver of responsibility. This is agreed to upon registration and signed by each participant prior to event start.
